RSL Florida is a volunteer based organization which heavily relies on its members to support and oversee and administer club programs.  The General Manager is responsible for all Directors of Coaching, coaches and Player Development.

The board meetings are held monthly and are open to registered RSL Florida players or parents.

President – It shall be the duty of the President as the chief executive officer to preside at all meetings of the members and Board of Directors. He or she shall be a member of the Board of Directors and the Executive Committee. He or she shall call all regular or special meetings when deemed necessary. He or she shall supervise and review effectiveness of all paid employs. He or she shall have the power to sign all contract and any other obligations on behalf of the Corporation approved by the Board of Directors. He or she shall be authorized to sign checks on the Corporation’s bank account. In addition, he or she shall have and perform such other duties as may be delegated to him or her by the Board of Directors.

Vice President - The Vice President shall be a member of the Board of Directors and shall be a member of the Executive Committee. The Vice President will be in charge of membership issues. He or she shall be the Club’s liaison with the Florida Youth Soccer Association, and all League associations. He or she will be charged with league rule compliance and team compliance with Club rules. The Vice President shall have check signing authority. He or she shall also perform other such duties as may be assigned by the President or the Board of Directors.

Recording Secretary/Registrar - The Recording Secretary/Registrar shall be a member of the Board of Directors and the Executive Committee. Recording Secretary shall act as the head registrar of the Club and shall coordinate and approve the activities of the assistant registrars. He or she shall take and keep the minutes of all meetings of the membership and Board of Directors. He or she shall maintain records related to Bylaws, Club Contracts, and Policy & Procedures. He or She shall ensure Club Administrator receives and files all written reports, handles all correspondence of the Corporation as directed by the Board, orders and maintains all supplies as from time to time may be required. He or She shall Chair and conduct annual elections. He or she shall also perform other such duties as may be assigned by the President or the Board of Directors.

Financial Officer -The Financial Officer shall be a member of the Board of Directors and the Executive Committee. The Financial Officer can have the ability to act as Treasurer or can coordinate with acting Treasurer. He or she shall report the financial condition of the corporation at annual meetings and as directed by the President. He or she will give monthly financial reports at the monthly Board of Director meetings and will also oversee the Scholarship and Finance Committees. He or she shall also perform other such duties as may be assigned by the President or the Board of Directors.

Director of Competitive - The Director of Competitive shall be a member of the Board of Directors and oversee the competitive program with the guidance of the Executive Committee. He or she shall work in partnership with the Director of Coaching to insure all aspects of competitive program run smoothly. He or she shall coordinate with chairman of managers and tryouts. He or she shall attend league meetings prior to season and as needed during season. He or she is responsible for communicating all club, league and FYSA information to competitive and Traveling Rec teams. He or she shall also perform other such duties as may be assigned by the President or the Board of Directors.

Director of In House Programs – The Director of In House Program shall be a member of the Board of Directors and oversee the Spring/Winter/Fall Developmental, Winter Recreation, and Camps. He or she shall work with the Director of Coaching and follow the procedures for in house programs. He or she will make recommendation for procedural changes. He or she is responsible for communicating program information to club members and the board. He or she shall also perform other such duties as may be assigned by the President or the Board of Directors.

Director of Communications – The Director of Communications shall be a member of the Board of Directors and will coordinate with the webmaster to insure website is keep up-to-date and is user friendly. He or she will promote club to the public. He or she will oversee publicity of programs and capital campaigns and work in partnership with Sponsorship/ Fundraising Director. He or she will oversee communications to the club at large. He or she shall also perform other such duties as may be assigned by the President or the Board of Directors.

Director of Fields, Scheduler and Referees – The Director of Fields, Scheduler and Referees shall be a member of the Board of Directors and will work with Referee Assignor and Field Marshalls. He or she shall oversee purchase of field supplies and insure restrooms are maintained. He or she shall also perform other such duties as may be assigned by the President or the Board of Directors.

Director of Sponsorships/Fundraising – The Director of Sponsorships/Fundraising shall be a member of the Board of Directors and will oversee all aspects of the Club sponsorship/fundraising efforts to include capital campaigns, club sponsorships and will work in partnership with the Director of Communications to promote the Club. He or she shall also be responsible for obtaining corporate, business and individual sponsors for the Association and its teams; coordinate the competitive teams’ sponsorship program in line with TKFC policies; work with the Club Administrator to order/coordinate plaque/sponsorship orders and distribution; coordinate with the Club Administrator or Director of Communications in regards to updating sponsorships and fundraisers on the website. He or she shall also perform other such duties as may be assigned by the President or the Board of Directors.

Treasurer - The Treasurer shall receive and deposit all funds in the name of the Corporation in a bank approved by the Board of Directors. He or she shall make checks for the disbursement of funds, and have signing authority on the Club account. Current financial records shall be maintained at all times. He or she shall maintain separate and distinct accounting for the teams within the Club, and shall disburse funds and maintain balances separately for each when necessary. He or she shall also perform other such duties as may be assigned by the President or the Board of Directors.
